Tomorrow, Tomorrow

I just talked to the chair of the Communications department and I am meeting with her tomorrow at 9:30. She told me to bring my SS card and drivers license as well as copies of my transcripts. It sounded like I didn't have to interview that I was already hired!! She said there would be paperwork I would need to fill out! I am so excited!!! Soon you will be calling me Professor! YIKES!

Yippee!!

I have been applying like crazy for a new job. I just got a call to be an adjunct professor of Communications for the Community College here in town! I would still keep my current job but teach part-time in the hopes of moving to full-time!! I am trying desperately to get ahold of Travis to determine which class to take and MWF or a Saturday. Of course they would still have to interview me, but this could be the answer to our prayers!!

Lecture time...

I took the boys to the dr on Monday. Both have had a cough and Logan kept saying he just didn't feel good and his throat hurt. They both just had viral infections. What a waste of $40!

While we were there the boys were weighed. Cole has lost 2lbs since May. He now weighs 27lbs. Logan on the other hand has gained 9lbs since January! He is a whopping 62lbs!

This prompted the doctor to discuss proper nutrition. He is above 100% in weight and about 95% for height, so he not little by any means but this was a big jump. He is now 44inches, but had grown 2inches since January. I truly believe he is about to sprout up again. She said she didn't want him to gain anymore weight for the year. We are supposed to just monitor his eating and exercise.

I can guarantee my kid is not a lump. He is always running and playing and I have always tried to keep from eating bad things.

Why is it that you have to force one kid to eat and the other you have to keep from eating! That is SO HARD!!!

Just need to get it all out...

We are broke. I don't just mean broke, I mean we are -100 on the checking account with no money in savings to cover because we have no savings, thanks to the punks last month that busted our car window with a bb that we had to fix. And of course yesterday after we had pictures taken for the church directory we come out after paying $50 (that we don't have) for and 8x10 picture to find my back left tire completely flat. Travis then had to change the tire in his picture clothes (ruining then because of the grease) for us to go home.

This morning he takes the car to WalMart and guess what they can't fix it, we need a new tire. Off to Discount Tire, it is going to cost $250 for a new tire. So he walks out. We can't afford it.

He then calls his parents. His mom is completely out of it. Just blabbering and has no conscientious idea of what she is doing. FIL is taking her to the dr to see what to do. This is exactly what Travis' Grandpa did right before he died. Just yesterday they were telling us the moving vans would be here on the 29th!

Travis now feels like the world is falling apart around him. We are helpless and I just don't feel like we can take anymore.
