We Need Prayers...

Travis’ mom got the results from her CT Scan yesterday and they are not good. Her cancer has moved to her brain in two spots. She has also had a mild stroke. They are changing their plan of action from chemo to radiation as well as keeping her on the test drug. They have given her at most 2 years to live. Please pray for us and Travis’ family as this news is so difficult to hear. Also their house in California has still not sold and they have already purchased a house to move near us. Please as God to guide them in what they should do next.


The selfish me is not wanting them to move. I don't want my kids to have to watch their grandmother die. Right now she is just the grandma that visits. They say 2 years but that could be she starts going down hill the moment they do move and then all the stress and responsibility falls on us. Trips to the hospital and explaining to the kids what is going on. Their last memories of their grandma not happy ones but sad. I know selfish but this is the truth.
Please pray that I can be less selfish in this situation and appreciate the little time we have left.

I have a Pre-K Graduate!!!

Did I just say that outloud? How in the world could my baby boy already be heading to kindergarten in the fall!!! Where did that cute gerber baby go? I mean he is still cute but he is hardly a baby! My 4 year old wears size 7 clothes!! Built just like his daddy. Cole is so shrimpy compared to what Logan was at 2. It is so weird how 2 kids that come from the same parents can be so different!

Wow what a difference 4 years can make!

Cole has also has been cracking me up lately. Both by being funny and by being 2!!! Holy cow if it isn't done right, the world is going to end and he is throwing a HUGE fit until it is right! The same day as Logan's graduation Travis got and out fit out for Cole to wear and then brought it to our room. Well Travis kept calling for Cole and he never came, so Travis went to find him. Cole was in his room and had pulled out 2 more shirts. Cole refused to get dressed without having all 3 shirts put on him, (In a special order no less). Here is a picture of my stylish 2 year old!

I look HOT!

Ok I know you are not supposed to brag about yourself, but hey this is my blog! At church yesterday I got a million comments on how great I look. Boy how good that makes a person feel!

Then today at work a guy who works in another department told me a I was looking great, of course this is the same guy who loved me pregnant too!

Just 9lbs to go and we joined a gym so I hope they go fast and I tone up a little!

The boys are going to a new school.

June 4th the boys will start at a new daycare. They will do the summer program and then in the fall that is where Logan will start kindergarten. I just couldn't handle Logan being miserable at school anymore. I know this change will do him good!

I went yesterday to see if moving them now was possible and while I was there Cynthia (the director) was telling me about a field trip the kindergarten class is taking on Friday and she invited Logan and I to go. This will be a great thing for Logan! To get away and just be with Mommy and also get to know his teacher for next year a little better. We are going to the Dallas Aquarium! It is going to be a blast!

What's gotten into this boy???

We are having some major discipline issues at school with Logan. Right now he is thriving on the negative attention of getting into trouble. I am about to rip my hair out. I have run out of things to try. Today the teacher told me that if he gets into trouble today she is going to send him to the 3 year old room and see how he likes it. You know a little reverse psychology. The good thing is he is starting in a new school in August and I think that will make all the difference in the world. He is too comfortable, if you know what I mean.
